Every student matters everyday

Children requiring support for their learning are catered for by their classroom teacher and specialist teachers. Our school is serviced by one Learning Support Teacher, over several days per week. This teacher works with the classroom teacher, principal and parent/carer to develop specialised learning programs or an Individual Curriculum Plan which best suits that child. The teachers are assisted by advisory visiting teachers for intellectual and physical impairment, a speech/language pathologist, and a Guidance Officer.

As part of the Prep - Year 3 classroom daily routine, children are required to go to their classroom before school begins and read to a teacher or teacher aide.
